Summer Camps
The summers can be interesting with the kids out of school and nothing for them to do. We have a wonderful solution – we are now offering 7 weeks (7 sessions) of fun-filled summer camps. Sign up before 5/1/08 and the cost is reduced. Extended day is available for those in need of it - call for details.

Pre-Season Football Skills Camp
We are holding a skills camp designed to increase players awareness of the importance of “specialized skill sets”. The camp will focus on speed and agility as well as other key components that sets good players and “next level” players apart. The New England Surge will lead this pre-season camp.

Similar to our indoor league – players will use wood bats on a modified and big diamond this fall. The league will be played in the Worcester area and consist of a 12 game season and all teams will receive 1 hour of practice per week. Sign up deadline is August 15th.

Developmental “Big Diamond” League
Knowing the struggles of making the jump from the “little” diamond to the “big” diamond – we’ve decided to create a developmental league to help young players make this transition before the season begins. If you have a player about to make the move – this is a “must do”!

10 Week Hitting/Fielding Clinic
We found great success will running this clinic last spring. As a result we’re bringing this 10 week hitting/fielding clinic back for another go! Players will learn the fundamentals of hitting and fielding in an awesome environment. Based on the requests to have this program back – we’re expecting a “full house” – so sign up today before the spots are filled!

10 Week Power Hitting/Fielding Clinic
This is an advanced hitting and fielding clinic that will center on escalating a hitters power at the plate as well as their throwing strength in the field. We suggest players entering this 10 week program to have prior instruction on the fundamentals of hitting and fielding.

5 Week Power Hitting/Fielding Clinic
If 10 weeks of hitting and fielding are too tough to commit to, then maybe this 5 week session will fit your schedule a little better. The clinic is designed to improve the hitter’s ability to drive the ball further and harder.

Indoor Baseball League (Wood Bat)
Our wood bat indoor baseball league is perfect for little leaguers and coaches looking to continue the playing season. By participating in this league, hitters will get the chance to swing the big sticks like the big leaguers – relying on their lumber! The league will consist of 10 games plus playoffs. Each team will receive 30 minute practices in our cage before every game.

Mini-Baseball Academy
We found great success in our spring 2008 session of “Baseball Academy”. As a result we’re now offering a “mini-camp” to give middle school and high school players the opportunity to never get out of “baseball shape” – even after the season is over and the off-season begins.

Indoor Youth Flag Football League
We’re teaming up with the New England Surge to bring you a new Flag Football League. The season will be 12 with playoffs and the winners of both divisions will play at the DCU Center during a New England Surge football game.

Coed Indoor Soccer League
Here’s an 8 on 8 coed soccer league to feed the soccer interest in the area. This is a competitive league for young men and women that will include playoffs. All high school players are encouraged and welcome to join.

December School Vacation Clinic 2008
We’re please to offer our 3rd annual December School Vacation Clinic! With our numbers growing every year, we’re excited about the upcoming baseball clinic this winter. Like our past clinics, this one will be conducted by local coaches and players and will focus on hitting, pitching, base running and over all “game play” in this 4 – day program.

High School Baseball Skills Competition 2008
New to Hit Quarters this year – we’ve discovered a great way to help local high schools prepare in the off-season and work towards tryouts. This unique competition pits high schools against high schools in a fun, yet competitive atmosphere! Teams consist of 6 players with 3 alternates. Teams will be challenged on specific “in-game” situations and earn points for each situation completed correctly. Winning team receives $800.00 towards indoor training for their school’s 2009 tryouts or practices!

Baseball Academy 2009
Back for a 2nd year! Our Baseball Academy will pick up where we left off – getting local high school baseball players ready for the 2009 season! This 8 week program helps prepare players for tryouts and the upcoming season. It’s the academy’s goal to have enrolled players in “season-form” by the start of tryouts. Players will undergo strength and conditioning training as well as skill training 2 days a week.

February Vacation Clinic 2009

Little Big League 2009
Our most energetic program returns! This is an introductory baseball league for all skill levels – focusing on teaching the basic fundamentals of baseball without the use of tees. Our coaches/instructors strongly emphasize teamwork and good sportsmanship. The program includes 1 practice and 1 game per week.

Open Cage Night
This is by far the best way to work on your swing all year round! We open our doors every Mondays and Fridays to those hitters looking to maintain their swings throughout the year.
