Softball Coaches

Tara Faford

Tara played for Grafton High School, hitting 3rd in the lineup. During her Junior and Senior years she won back to back state championships. As a four year starter at the University of Bridgeport, she ranked 3rd in RBIs on the team her senior year.

Claire Roll

Claire Roll has been a part of the game of softball for over 15 years. She helped her team become sectional champions her sophomore year, was the starting pitcher for elite tournament teams 16U and 18U in NY state between 2005 – 2010, (participating in numerous championships and national qualifiers) attended Gordon College and graduated in May of 2012. A three-year member of the Fighting Scots’ program, Roll set the school record her senior year for season earned runs (7) and season earned run average; (1.64) and established the school mark for season strikeouts per 7 innings-pitched (9.23) in 2011.

Claire has been a part of numerous coaching staffs including the 14 NYS Lazers Elite Fastpitch team from 2011-2012 (Pitching/Assistant Coach); the Gordon College Fighting Scots (CCC) for two seasons 2013-2014 (Pitching/Assistant Coach); the 18U NE Blazers out of Marlborough and is currently the head coach of the Rage 16U team in Salisbury, MA. She has coached private pitching and hitting lessons for the past 8 years in New York and Boston.
